[ Nezumi & Shion ] This is Why We Fight - - - - [ A tribute to my two favorite characters. ] So... guess who found a new anime obsession? I DID! I randomly stumbled upon No. 6 after seeing the genre description. Josei action-adventure, which calls to mind fond memories of Amatsuki, has never done me wrong, so I gave this one a try, and I wasn't disappointed. I adore the characters, and I'm an especially huge fan of the dynamic between the main characters. Gah, it's wonderful, and it reminds me ever-so-faintly of Nabari no Ou, another series where I was head-over-heels for an author's portrayal of her characters. So, anyway... yeah. I heard this song a while ago, and for some reason, it seemed perfect for this series, where the characters fight to stay alive in a world that?although perfectly peaceful on the surface?is in its own kind of war. They fight against the cruel oppression just by living defiantly and searching for happiness. I can't think of any series that would have fit this song better. It's a little bit different than my usual fare, but I hope you're able to enjoy it! I tried to make the video speak for itself without using too many flashy effects, so I hope that it worked out. Sadly, I was only able to use episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 for this one, but I think it works. As always, I don't necessarily intend for this video to be yaoi/shounen-ai, but take from it what you will. Whatever the true nature of their relationship is, it's amazing and I adore it. I sincerely hope that you'll enjoy watching this, and I pray that those who haven't seen this but might perhaps have enjoyed Nabari no Ou will take a look at this underrated and underappreciated series. You won't regret it. It's shaping up to be quite interesting. - - - - ? I LOVE YOU LIKE FUZZY PICKLES.
